描述如下：This is a hypotriploid human cell line. The modal chromosome number was 64, occurring in 30% of cells. The rate of cells with higher ploidies was 4.2 %. The der(1)t(1;15) (q42;q13), der(19)t(3;19) (q12;q13), der(12)t(8;12) (q22;p13), and four other marker chromosomes were common to most cells. Five other markers occurred in some cells only. The marker der(1) and M8 (or Xq+) were often paired. There were four copies of N17 and N22. Noticeably in addition to three copies of X chromosomes, there were paired Xq+, and a single Xp+ in most cells.

The QBI-HEK 293A cell line is an immortalized line of primary human embryonic kidney cells transformed by sheared human Adenovirus type 5 (Ad5) DNA. QBI-HEK 293A cells, harboring the E1A and E1B region of the adenoviral genome, complement in trans the deletion of the E1 region in the recombinant Adenovirus. Therefore, the QBI-HEK 293A cell line is an excellent packaging cell line for the generation of high titer recombinant Adenovirus.
In addition, and contrary to other HEK 293 cell lines, Qbiogene's QBI-HEK 293A cell line is a superior sub-clone of HEK 293 cells and strongly adheres to plastic dishes. QBI-HEK 293A cells do not require any special plasticware as long as it is treated for cell culture.
Furthermore, the QBI-HEK 293A cell line is very reliable, performing extremely well in plaque assay and transfection experiments.

293T is a derivative of 293 cells that stably express
the large T-antigen of SV40. Plasmids containing the SV40
origin are replicated to a copy number of between 400 -
1000 plasmids per cell within 293T, and therefore express
at a higher level.
293T are also resistant to G418. This cell-line was made
in Michelle Calos' lab at Stanford about 14 years ago.
The 293FT Cell Line is a clonal isolate derived from transformed embryonal kidney cells. The 293FT strain is a fast-growing highly transfectable variant of the 293 cell line, which contains the large T antigen for high-level expression of the packaging proteins contributing to higher viral titers.
